Interview with MARC BRUNKE - Technical Director of BroaMan - done by InBroadact during IBC 2017 in Amsterdam

German network fiber giant BroaMan, has chosen the upcoming AES Convention in New York (October 18-21) to announce vital new features to successful product ranges.

BroaMan has set this year’s IBC Show for the launch of one of its most significant solutions yet: the Repeat8-NANO.

BroaMan’s Mux22 was originally conceived as a series of application engineered devices offering multiple signal support in a compact 1RU chassis. This combines 3G/HD/SD-SDI I/O with Optocore and SANE digital audio networks, transporting video, along with audio and data, on a single duplex fiber.

From August 2017 the delivery time on all standard products will be no longer than two weeks.

With its HQ in Milan, and a branch office in Rome, Communication Video Engineering (CVE) has been appointed new distribution partner for Italy by BroaMan.

German fibre-based broadcast solution providers, BroaMan, have appointed Beijing Insight Visual Technology Co., Ltd. (IV-Tech) as their new distribution partners in China.

The America’s Cup sailing race is the oldest trophy in international sport, dating back to 1851. And for the 35th edition, presented by Louis Vuitton, the location was Bermuda, as the event moved to the iconic Great Sound.

Danmon Group Sweden has been appointed distributor for Optocore and BroaMan fibre solutions, having been representing the brands in Denmark for a number of years.

Optical digital fibre-based network technology specialist BroaMan was incorporated in January 2012 by the founders of Optocore GmbH. The company provides products that are dedicated for using a fibre Infrastructure to integrate video, audio, intercom and other data on a redundant low latency system. Within that scope are, of course, technologies that are designed for use with IP solutions throughout the broadcast industry. As Managing Director Tine Helmle explains in an interview that covers a variety of areas, IP is good news for the company.
